16. What is Bundling?

Answer: After finished fabric cutting according to marker, All the part of every size and style is numbering and make the bundle.

17. What is a Bundle opening?

Answer: When the bundle is made, all the bundle sent to the sewing unit for sewing and need to open the bundle.

18. What is Sewing?

Answer: The process by which all the part of a bundle is joined together by thread and needle to make a complete garment is known as sewing.

19. What is a needle?
Answer: a very fine slender piece of polished metal with a point at one end and a hole or eye for the thread at the other, used in sewing.

20. What is the stitch?

Answer: Loop or loops of one or more threads when bounds with each other, either by interlacing, inter-loping, intra-looping or combination of those when sewing fabric, each unit of such configuration is called stitch. 

21. What is interlacing?

Answer: During stitching when one loop of one thread passes over another loop of another thread is called interlacing.

22. What is inter-loping?
Answer: When a loop of one thread passes through the loop of another thread is called inter-looping.


23. What is intera-looping?
Answer: When a loop of one thread passes through the loop of the same thread during sewing is called intra-looping.
24. What are the types of sewing stitch?
Answer: Stitches are grouped in 6 classes according to British standard 3870:1991 as follows-

• Stitch class – 100 (Single thread chain stitch )
• Stitch class – 200 (Hand stitch )
• Stitch class – 300 (Lock stitch )
• Stitch class – 400 (Multi-thread chain stitch )
• Stitch class – 500 (Overedge stitch)
• Stitch class – 600 (Covering chain stitch) 

25. What is the Seam?

Answer: A line along which two or more fabrics are joined by sewing.

26. What are the types of Seam?
Answer:  According to British Standard 3870: 1991, the seam is classified as-

• Class 1- superimposed
• Class 2- lapped
• Class 3- bound
• Class 4- flat
• Class 5- decorative/channel
• Class 6- edge neatening
• Class 7- applied
• Class 8- others

27. What is the garment inspection? 

Answer: After completed any specific step in garment manufacturing need to find out the faults of garments to control the quality. This type of work is known as garments inspection.

28. What are the types of garments inspection?

Answer: Generally garments are inspected in the following steps-

• Pre-production inspection
• Inline inspection.
• Pre-final inspection.
• Final inspection.

29. What is Pre-production inspection?

Answer: When garments are starting in production after sample approval, an inspection is done to ensure that the process is running smoothly.

30. What is Inline inspection?

Answer: During garments production, an inspector has checked the garments at the end of the line to ensure that every garment is fault-free.
